This has been a pretty unprecedented week for us here at Ledbury. In case you missed it, we released our very first short-sleeve shirt collection. Just to give you some context, a year ago we said we would never make a short-sleeve shirt (we’re traditionalists, what can we say.) After multiple customer requests and with some coaxing, we decided to produce a small collection of short-sleeves in the Ledbury Lab, and it seemed like you guys liked them.
In honor of Mother’s Day, and in the spirit of trying new things, we’re thrilled to announce the very first Bespoke Women’s Collection. What better gift for the hard-working women in your life than the perfect fit and supreme quality of a custom Ledbury shirt? The bespoke women’s collection consists of three different shirt silhouettes designed in-house, and each bespoke order will be hand produced at the Ledbury Workshop housed in our flagship store here in Richmond. Each bespoke style is priced at $245, and can easily be gifted by purchasing a gift card at Ledbury on Broad.
The three silhouettes are flattering on a range of body types and styles, and were each designed by input from many women at Ledbury who know how hard it is to find the perfect-fitting shirt. You can bet that much consideration has been put into the small details of this collection, like a curved yoke on the back of the shirt and figuring out the perfect length of the button placket. The styles include:
- Classic Button-Down: A versatile button-down with a fit that hugs close to your body and features a button-down collar.
- Tunic Pop-Over: A more modern shaped pop-over with an oversized look and breezy feel. Features a mini Alden collar, curved yoke and box pleat.
- Short-Sleeve Style: A summer casual blouse with two chest pockets, an updated button-down collar, and a fitted look.
