Fall Core Collection Preview

With autumn finally upon us, we are incredibly excited for the seasonal additions that will be added to our Core Collection in the coming weeks. As well as new shirts, we will be bringing back a few favorites from our 2011 limited edition Short Run releases.  We’re introducing a variety of colors, patterns and textures this Fall that we are particularly excited about, as well as our first few solo-pocket shirts.

The Henderson Plaid

Incorporating a timeless button down collar and front pocket, the Henderson Plaid is an office favorite for its casual feel. This shirt looks great on its own or layered underneath a sweater. The Henderson’s bold tones look great paired with neutral tans, grays, or warmer reds if you enjoy wearing color. The single shirt pocket marks the first of the Ledbury collection.

The Navy Fitzgerald

This simple plaid pattern of the Navy Fitzgerald makes this the perfect addition to any wardrobe. This shirt would pair perfectly with a knitted necktie and a pair of corduroys.

The Orange and Gray Morgan Check

Taking inspiration from the colors of the season, the Orange and Gray Morgan Check has the versatility to transition between office and weekend. This shirt has a bit of burgundy woven in, giving the shirt a nice warmth.

The Allen

This shirt is an instant crowd pleaser. The bold blue and red plaid accompanied by a button-down collar makes this shirt perfect weekend attire. Wear the top button open with a blazer for a dressy casual look. The Allen is also great worn solo with a pair of cords for a more comfortable look.

The Callan Brushed Oxford

A hugely popular shirt that we first introduced as part of our 2011 Short Run Collection, the Callan is back in a big way. We’re introducing several new colors this Fall, the first being a deep bluish gray. The Callan is the ideal Autumn utility shirt with double breast pockets and a shortened body to be worn casual and untucked.

The new additions to the Fall Core Collection will be available October 11. Be sure to check out our newest Short Run releases and keep an eye out for additional Core Collection shirts over the next few weeks.

  • I really like these shirts. The fit is just right (regular, not slim)the quality of construction is very good and I don’t feel that I have to have buttons immediately sewed on better. The positioning of the first button below the collar and the fit of the collars in particular (they don’t fall inward) is great. Given the quality, the price is decent (in comparison with what is out there in a similar range). Here’s my issue/problem/beef with Ledbury. There is no tag that states where the shirt has been made (at least I haven’t found it yet). Through a popular online “forum” about “style”, it is said that they are made in Poland. I have no problem with that–given the quality–if that is the case. However, no where on the website is it stated country of origin. In fact, is seems to be implied that they ARE made in USA…? “Today, we’re back home in Richmond, Virginia, where our small, but growing business is located in a renovated tobacco warehouse built in 1866.” So, just where is the country of origin? I know (from my own busines) that this question can be a sticky issue, and not a precision thing, once you begin to find out the particulars of import/export law and labeling from various countries… Nevertheless, I think being upfront about it is the better route to take. Otherwise this may come back to bite you in the @$$. Just my opinion. If they are made somewhere outside of the USA, why not PROUDLY state that fact? If they are made in the USA, why not PROUDLY state that fact?

  • I ordered a shirt from you aboit a month ago .I ordered a size 17 which is the size I wear in the polo Ralph Lauren shirts I buy. Your shirt was too small and cut too tight .I love your fabrics and shirts but they are cut too small for me.

  • Hi Mark,

Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on Ledbury.

We try to be honest and transparent about the manufacturing of our shirts. While all of the design takes place in our office and showroom location in Richmond, VA, our fabrics are all Italian-woven and our shirts are indeed manufactured in a small factory in Poland. Our shirts do have a tag that reads, “Made in Poland,” on the bottom of the button placket in the front of the shirt. We are very proud that our shirts are manufactured in Poland and have a great relationship with the factory – we look forward to sharing their story in an upcoming content piece.

  • Man it would be just awesome if you all made shirts for guys of the 14.5 neck variety (sad face).

  • Just bought my first shirt. Love it, but I was surprised there was no front pocket. Is the lack of a pocket the same on all of your shirts.?

    • Hey Jeff,

We’ve received a handful of requests for pockets and will be expanding our range of shirts with pockets in the near future. We currently have a few shirts with pockets, such as the Collins Denim and some Short Run shirts. Please feel free to contact our customer experience team at customer-service@ledbury.com if you need any additional help.
