Introducing Our New Blazer and Sport Coats

The approach to creating our first collection of blazers and sport coats was much like our obsessive approach to shirt making; focus on providing the finest quality of fabric and constructing a remarkable fit. We began this process over a year ago and are thrilled to finally announce the first release of the Ledbury Tailored Collection with our Blue Paton Blazer and Huxley, Blue and Brown Hanover Check, Blue Loro Piana and Herringbone sport coats.

The first step of this journey was focusing on how the jackets would feel in terms of tactile quality and selecting the perfect fabric. We visited both domestic and international textile mills and fell in love with a handful of mutli-generational Italian mills –Canonico, Loro Piana, Di Delfino.

We selected fabrics, made out of all virgin wool, and patterns that would impeccably compliment our shirting. Our Navy Paton Blazer and our Huxley Sport Coats are made from incredibly soft, tightly woven hopsack fabric. Our Huxley sport coats are available in staple colors of brown, grey, and a slightly more pronounced rust. We also offer a mid-weight grey and black herringbone sport coat, a fully lined dark blue sport coat with subtle brown checks, and an unbelievably soft blue sport coat woven from 100% New Zealand wool from Loro Piana. With a nod to our English roots, we have designed all of our jackets with double vents and classic notch lapels.

A great deal of thought went into how our to commitment to fit would translate into our jacket design. We decided to offer a classic fit, which provides a flattering look on men of all shapes and sizes, and a slim fit with a trimmer silhouette. To prevent our jackets from appearing boxy, the majority come in semi-constructed or deconstructed structures. The deconstructed sport coats come with a softer shoulder and remain unlined to allow the ability to form naturally to the shape of a person’s body without the extra bulk. This also makes the jackets more breathable and provides the versatility to be worn throughout the seasons of the year.

Like our shirting, we strive to deliver the highest quality garments possible at a fair and accessible price to our customers. These jackets are not inexpensive, but are truly a product of detail and craftsmanship. Each item comes with its own production number and date stamped on the jacket label.

  • cannot see any details on the dark such as the blue paton – seems to run short on the model

  • How are the sportcoats constructed (fused, full canvas or half canvas) and what are the measurements for a size 38 slim and a size 38 regular.

    Kind Regards,

  • Beautiful line of Blazers and Sport Coats. Looking forward to your spring line. I live on the gulf coast and we dont do wool very well. Beautiful shirts too.

  • I normally wear your sixe 16 slim fit, which is a tad losse but very nice. Is the Blue and Brown Hanover Check coming out in a slim fit?

  • Hey Iain, thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, the Blue and Brown Hanover Check will only be available in our Classic fit but our other jackets are available in slim fits.

  • Color and texture are very nice, I like all…

  • Wow, you’ve posted well enough. Nice to read your post. Your post gives me a lot of excellent and valuable information about Blazer. Thanks for sharing this so interesting post! I really want to be thankful for the way you have put it here.
