Style File // The Woodsman

“The Woodsman” is partially inspired by the adventurous spirit of our friend Lee Baskerville, who we featured in our “Meet Our Friends” segment earlier in the week, and partially inspired by the existential desire to abandon the typical day to day for a bit of isolation every now and then. Coincidentally, “The Woodsman” is the ideal style for organized hunting and gathering – perhaps a quail hunt, which Ledbury is conveniently hosting this weekend (more on this next week). Featuring The Red Callan from the current Short Run Shirting Collection, “The Woodsman” is also an ideal look for casual weekend style.

  • You can do twice thr fuction for less than half the price for all of this. A woodsman is a hard working man in fuctional gear. Swap out that silly cardigan for a flannel, dry denim is nice, and hardworking. Though the price is extreme. Those boots won’t last long, get a good pair of danners. A fixed blade knife is superior and will look better. Go gerber. Rucksack ain’t bad, but if you’re looking for something a little more comfortable get a hip belt version.
