Twice a month we introduce a small collection of limited edition shirts. To highlight each shirt in our second batch of December Short Run Shirting, we created a range of versatile looks featuring some of our favorite Ledbury products and accessories. Bridging the gap of workwear and weekend attire, our styling introduces subtle pattern mixing and intentional color pairings to create versatile looks that work well in most environments.
Featuring a single breast pocket, shortened tail, and constructed from the incredibly soft brushed oxford fabric from Tessitura Monti that we use in our popular Callan shirts, the Green Avery is the ideal cold weather utility shirt. Leave this casual shirt untucked or throw on a blazer with a patterned scarf to add extra character to your outfit.
The Blue and Brown Starks Gingham
The Blue and Brown Starks is a blue and brown gingham topped with the Ledbury Spread Collar. This is a wardrobe staple and looks great with a necktie – such as our Light Blue Astin Stripe Tie. Wear this with a suit, underneath a blazer, or by itself with the collar left open.
The Purple McKinsey Oxford
Constructed from purple gingham cotton oxford cloth from Tessitura Monti, The Purple McKinsey Oxford looks great worn casually with a blazer. Slip our Waverly pocket square into your jacket’s pocket to incorporate a subtle addition of pattern into your look.
This navy blue, red and white tattersall is an instant crowd pleaser from our Winter Roosevelt Flannel series. The brushed cotton twill fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable. This shirt looks great when worn with a solid-colored scarf and the short tails give you the option of wearing this untucked.
The bold blue and white European stripes of The Franklin create a sharp look when paired with the dotted patterns of our Sidwell Tie. With such a bold shirt choice, tone down the look with a navy blazer – and don’t forget the pocket square and cashmere scarf before heading out.
Each outfit was laid out on boards sourced from the barn at Ledbury co-founder Paul Trible’s family farm in Kilmarnock, VA.
